Does the SGG EVERCLEAR ultimate energy-free and anti-fog freezer door work on every freezer ?

To operate in the best conditions, especially regarding anti-fog performances, SGG EVERCLEAR needs to be installed vertically on ventilated freezer cabinets. They can be either full-height or combi size.

Can the SGG EVERCLEAR ultimate energy-free and anti-fog freezer door be used on its own?

As SGG EVERCLEAR is mainly composed of glass elements, it needs to be framed before being installed on an energy-efficient freezer cabinet. To reach the biggest energy-savings, SGG EVERCLEAR is to be combined with an energy-free frame.

Where can I buy the SGG EVERCLEAR ultimate energy-free and anti-fog freezer door?

If you are a store manager willing to equip your store, you can contact most of the major energy-efficient freezer manufacturers that offer SGG EVERCLEAR freezer doors in their product range.

How do I clean the SGG EVERCLEAR ultimate energy-free and anti-fog freezer door?

You only have to clean the freezer-side glass (on which the SGG EVERCLEAR anti-fog coating is applied) with ANIOS wipes (reference. 1141.315). For detailed information, please refer to the SGG EVERCLEAR cleaning instructions on this website.

Is it possible to replace the SGG EVERCLEAR anti-fog coating?

The SGG EVERCLEAR anti-fog coating is applied on the freezer-side glass in the Saint-Gobain factory and therefore can not be replaced.

What would be the consequences if the SGG EVERCLEAR anti-fog coating was scratched?

Glass is a scratchable material. So is the SGG EVERCLEAR anti-fog coating. If a scratch damages the coating, it will not affect the anti-fog performances on the rest of the coating. Therefore, fog may only appear on the scratched surfaces.

To what extent SGG EVERCLEAR can be considered as the ultimate energy-free freezer door?

Its components offer the highest thermal insulation in their category, e.g. its 2 Low-E coatings (SGG PLANITHERM ULTRA N) are silver based (to offer the highest light transmittance) and also have a unique emissivity of 0.03 W/m².K.
